Somerset Landscape Evidence Base

LUC was commissioned in 2024 to prepare landscape assessments to provide a robust evidence base to underpin the review of the Somerset Local Plan.

A Landscape Character Assessment has been produced for the Somerset Council Local Plan area, along with a Landscape Sensitivity Assessment for new residential and commercial development along the edge of settlements.
